However, with the system we are introducing here, the business receives a lump sum payment, just like with regular credit card payments, and the customer pays in installments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"746\" height=\"458\" src=\"https:\/\/hanami-web.tokyo.jp\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-10.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14782\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hanami-web.tokyo.jp\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-10.png 746w, https:\/\/hanami-web.tokyo.jp\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-10-300x184.png 300w, https:\/\/hanami-web.tokyo.jp\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/image-10-18x12.png 18w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 746px) 100vw, 746px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from Stripe, there are several other companies such as Univapay and Alphanote that offer credit installment payment services, but the drawback is that the screening process is strict and it is often difficult to get approved, and the fees are high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"stripe%e3%81%ae%e3%82%af%e3%83%ac%e3%82%b8%e3%83%83%e3%83%88%e5%88%86%e5%89%b2%e6%89%95%e3%81%84%e6%89%8b%e6%95%b0%e6%96%99\"><\/span>Stripe credit installment fees<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no additional fees for splitting the payment.<br>It is the standard 3.6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, customers may have to pay interest on their credit cards, except for two installments and bonus payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"stripe%e3%81%ae%e3%82%af%e3%83%ac%e3%82%b8%e3%83%83%e3%83%88%e5%88%86%e5%89%b2%e6%89%95%e3%81%84%e8%a6%81%e4%bb%b6\"><\/span>Stripe Credit Installment Requirements<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Splitting is only available for Japanese Stipe accounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Payment in installments is possible only with credit cards issued in Japan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must be in Japanese Yen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>VISA\/Master can be divided into up to 60 parts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>JCB can be split into up to 24 parts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diners Club and Discover are not accepted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>American Express does not offer split payment options.
