I wanted to build a matching website using WordPress! I tried out a Micro job theme from an overseas theme company called PREMIUMPRESS, and this article explains how to build it.
This time, we will explain how to set up the design of the search page!
How to change the search page design
Set it in PREMIUMPRESS's [Design] > [Search Page].
You can choose from 6 different designs.
Search item customization
This is an item that allows you to customize search criteria, but since this item was not reflected, it seems that another item has been set as a priority.
The setting location is PREMIUMPRESS's [Settings] > [Search Settings].
Search settings
- Search Results – How many results you want to display per page
- Login required - Only logged in users will see search results
- Show has ended - Set whether to display completed items in search results
Show/hide amount
If there are many categories, they are collapsed under "Show more", but this is the setting for how many categories are displayed by default. Currently, it is set to 10, so up to 10 categories are output, and any more are collapsed under "Show more".
Various filter display settings
- Price filter - price item
- Category filter - Category items
- Taxonomy Filter Taxonomy Items
- Rating filter - Rating items
- Keyword filter - Keyword input items
- Showonly filter Items displayed only below
Hidden Layout Switcher
For layouts where icons are displayed, this setting determines whether or not to display icons.
Input assistance/number of categories
- Enable input supplementation - Do you want to use the input assistance function?
- Hide category counts - Display settings for the counts in various categories
Search display order settings
This sets the order in which the items are displayed.
Currently, the order is newest, most popular, and recommended.
