There is an item called Site Health Status in the WordPress dashboard. It is a default function added in WordPress 5.2 that diagnoses the health status of your WordPress site.
Go to the dashboard and click on "Dashboard" on the left sidebar.
There is a link in this item, so click on [Site Health Screen].
So, I had been wondering about this for a while.
Can I delete unused WordPress themes?
The answer became clear. The answer is [delete]is.
If you receive a message from WordPress saying "Please delete inactive and unused themes," then deleting them is the right thing to do.
Until now, I thought it would be fine to leave it there since I hadn't been using it, but I decided to take this opportunity to delete it.
It seems they are pushing for the deletion for security reasons.

Do not delete the default theme twenty twenty
I wish they had written that at the beginning. The default theme twenty twenty that is applied when you install wordpress is used when there is a problem with the site, so it seems that it should not be deleted. So I installed the free wordpress theme twenty twenty.
[Appearance] > [Theme]
New additions
At the very front was twenty twenty!
Click [Install] and you're done.
This video provides detailed instructions on how to install the Worpdress theme.
summary
I've seen and heard a lot of information that says it's a good idea to delete unused WordPress plugins, but is it also a good idea to delete unused themes? I was really wondering.
I was also glad to notice that a new feature called Site Health Status had been added!
