How to create a website using WordPress/How to use plugins/No-code construction blog
We will explain in detail how to apply for Sakura Rental Server's two-week free trial period, using screen captures of the actual application process.
First, apply!
Click on the Standard Plan to try out WordPress.
First, go to the Sakura Rental Server TOP page.
http://www.sakura.ne.jp/
Set the default domain
We will now set up the initial domain.
I think you will get your own domain when you start using it in the future, so please enter any string you like. I entered 【hanami-hanami】. After entering the domain, click on Select payment method.
First time customers: Click on "Proceed to new membership registration (free)".
Enter your membership information
Finally, check the box next to "I agree to the handling of personal information" and press the button to proceed to the confirmation screen.
Check the membership information you entered and click Register.
Check the application details and click "Apply with these details".
I am worried because the payment information is listed, but if you cancel within two weeks, no charge will be incurred. Just to be on the safe side, I recommend that you select a payment method such as bank transfer so that the process does not proceed automatically.
Your application is now complete. You will receive an email afterwards.
This is the automated reply email you will receive immediately after registering.
In my case, the registration completion email was sent 8 minutes later.
At the same time as the registration completion email, a provisional registration completion email was sent.
This email is very important and will be used to transfer files.<
When accessing the initial domain you registered, you get the error message "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server."
http://hanami-hanami.sakura.ne.jp/
Since you haven't put anything in the file for the registered domain yet, you'll get a 403 error message like the one below saying "Forbidden You don't have permission to access / on this server." But that's ok. This error says that you accessed the homepage but there is nothing there. This is normal, since you just opened the initial domain and haven't uploaded any files to the server. Don't worry, this is something that everyone will see.
Next time, let's install WordPress and solve the 403 Forbidden error!
