What you can do with site basic settings

What you can do with the site basic settings

  • Site Title - This is the title of the site that will be displayed at the top left of the site.
  • Tagline – Some themes have a tagline, but OceanWP does not output one. For SEO purposes, I will write down what kind of site it is.
  • Site Icon - Sets the site icon image, also known as a favicon.

A site icon is a small icon that appears next to the title of your browser.
By default, the w icon is often used, so by setting an image as your site icon, you can take your site to the next level and make it more original!

Summary of basic site settings

This is the most basic of settings, but if you don't set this properly, some people end up with the default message "Just another wordpress" as their tagline.

Make your website title short and write a tagline that describes your site!
