I am a WordPress instructor, and I often have the opportunity to teach the same content, such as how to get started with WordPress and how to use WordPress. I came to know about the Learning Management System (LMS) because I thought it would be nice if my customers could learn through e-learning.

I also learned that you can get started for free by using a WordPress plugin, and this time I will explain how to install a plugin called Lifter LMS.

This time, I will show you how to set up a course table of contents.

This time, I will introduce how to create an LMS using Amelia, a plugin that allows you to build a reservation management system using WordPress.

Create a course table of contents with LifterLMS

When you click on [Courses], you will see the automatically installed courses and course introduction (overview) pages that you created yourself.

If you want to modify the course introduction (overview) page, click [Edit], but in this case we will be creating a course table of contents, so click [Builder].

A different screen will open from the course overview page. This is where you create your course list (table of contents).

Add Section

First, set the main heading, Section.

Renaming a section

Click to change the text.

Next to it is a ▼ arrow to swap up and down, and a trash can icon for deleting.

Add Lesson

Click [New Lesson] to add a lesson to be placed in the section.

Repeat adding Section/Lesson

There are various ways to do this, but this time I will explain how to create the framework first, and then create the content of the lesson later.

First, I created a table of contents frame as shown below.

summary

This is the first step to create the text for each course that will be added in the future. I have created a table of contents for all courses.

All that's left to do is add the content and the basic framework of the Learning Management System will be complete!
