I wanted to build a matching website using WordPress! I tried out a Micro job theme from an overseas theme company called PREMIUMPRESS, and this article explains how to build it.

This time we will explain the basic settings for membership!

What is Membership?

Membership is the act of becoming a member to sell and buy items. There are many different types of memberships available, and there is a function that allows you to restrict what each member can do.

Set it up in PREMIUMPRESS's [Membership] section.

Setting location

This is done in the membership settings.

Membership Settings

  • Enable Membership - Turn this on to enable the membership feature.
  • Enforce Membership - Require people to sign up for a membership to view your site
  • Enforce Membership to Create - You can require membership to create a listing
  • Enable Overtime - ON to add the member's remaining package time to the new plan

Message for non-members

You can set a message that will be displayed when someone accesses a content-controlled page.

User registration related emails

Once you register, an email will be sent automatically.

This is in the [Email] > [Manage Email] section of the Dashboard PREMIUMPRESS.

Notification email to users

  • Confirmation email address - Sent if you have enabled email verification
  • New User Registration - User registration notification email
  • New Order - This email notifies you that your membership payment has been completed. This email is sent automatically when you purchase a service or when a callback page is displayed, not just when you purchase a membership.

Email notification to administrator

  • New User Registration - User registration notification email
  • New Order - This email will inform you that your membership payment has been completed.

Two types of emails will be sent.

This way, users can sign up for membership and change their membership level easily.

Understanding the membership permissions can be a little difficult.
I recommend trying out different permissions and seeing what changes are made to the display!
