In the major update in December 2025, the UI of the admin screen changed significantly in versions 9.x and later. We will explain the new version!

This time, we will explain how to set up reservation queues for services available in the paid version of Amelia.

Available with Pro and Elite licenses.

Amelia > Feature & Integration > Appointments waiting list

In the WordPress admin panel, click Amelia > Feature & Integration.

Set Appointments waiting list to [Enable].

Click set up.

Set up a page to let customers know they will be waiting for a reservation

By entering any URL into the Redirect URL, you can display the URL you set to customers waiting for reservations.

• Waiting list confirmation - Email sent when you are added to the waiting list
• Waiting list availability - Email sent when a cancellation occurs and a reservation slot becomes available

When a cancellation occurs, an email is sent to everyone on the waiting list at once. The first person to make a reservation is the one who gets the chance to make the reservation.

Setting up a waiting list for a specific service

In the service settings, under [Pricing & duration]
An option to display a waiting list for cancellations after reservations are full will be added, so you can set how many people you want to have on the waiting list.

If a service has only one available slot, the waiting list is not available.
A waiting list will be available for services that allow group reservations of two or more people.

If the number of red boxes is 2 or more, you can use the cancellation waiting list function.

If the event is already full, the number of people on the waiting list will be displayed in the attachment.
