This time, we will explain how to set up a deposit that can be used with the paid version of Amelia.

Amelia > Feature & Integration > Deposit payment

In the WordPress admin panel, click Amelia > Feature & Integration.

Set it to [Enable].

How to set up a deposit

By turning on the deposit function, you can create a system where you pay a lump sum at the time of booking and then have the remaining balance paid on a different day.

The deposit function is set up individually for each service and event.
Also, if online payment is not set up, you will not be able to use the deposit function.

For services

When you turn on the deposit function, the Deposit payment setting will be added to the Pricing & duration section.

Set a fixed amount or a percentage of the total amount.

If you turn on Allow customer to pay full amount, customers will be able to choose whether to pay just the deposit or the full amount when booking.

You can pay the remaining balance on the day, or you can pay the full balance at a later date by sending a payment link with the remaining amount set.

For events

A deposit setting will be added to the pricing settings.
