This article explains how to use Amelia, a WordPress plugin that allows you to create a homepage with a reservation system.
In the major update in December 2025, the UI of the admin screen changed significantly in versions 9.x and later. We will explain the new version!

This time, we will explain how to set up regular event reservations, which can be used with the paid version of Amelia.

Available with Standard, Pro, and Elite licenses.


Amelia > Feature & Integration > Recurring events

In the WordPress admin panel, click Amelia > Feature & Integration.

Set Recurring events to [Enable].

Where to set up recurring event reservations

When you turn on the recurring events function, an item called [Recurring Reservations] will be added to the event settings section.
By turning on the Repeat event switch, you can set up a repeat event.

How to set up a recurring event

The timing that can be set

  • Repeat – Set timing by day, week, month, or year
  • Every - set frequency
  • Until – Set an end date to a specific date
  • Apply 'Booking open' settings to all recurring events- Settings for when reservations for events start. If you turn this on, the logic set for the first event will be applied to subsequent events.
  • Apply 'Booking close' settings to all recurring events- Setting for the end of event reservations. If you turn this on, the logic set for the first event will be applied to subsequent events.

Schedules for January, February, and March are automatically generated, and you can make independent reservations for each.

Differences between bookings when adding dates

In the event settings, you can add a date.
The difference with recurring reservations is that if you add dates, the customer will book all of the added dates in one booking.
