This article explains how to use Amelia, a WordPress plugin that allows you to create a homepage with a reservation system.

This time, we will explain the service reservation resource function available in the paid version of Amelia.
The resource function allows you to restrict reservations by the material units required for the reservation.
for example

• Number of seats - For beauty salons, esthetic salons, etc., when you want to limit the number of reservations by the number of seats
• Rooms - If you want to limit the number of reservations by the number of rooms, such as for a rental salon
• Vehicles - If you want to limit the number of reservations by vehicle, such as rental cars

If there are only five seats available but there are seven people in charge, there will not be enough seats if you make reservations as they are. In such cases, you can use the resource function.

Amelia > Feature & Integration > Equipment

In the WordPress admin panel, click Amelia > Feature & Integration.

Set the facilities and equipment to [Enable].

Click Set up.

Adding Resources

Clicking on "Set up" will link you to the "Facilities and Equipment" page in the catalog.
This is where you create new resources.

Enter your name

First, enter a name for the resource.
This time, we will register a beauty salon room as a resource.

Number of resources

In the Maximum Quantity field, enter the number of resources that can be provided at the same time.
If there are four beauty salon rooms, set it to [4].

Advanced Setting

• Select the service that uses the resource
• Choose where to use the resource
• Select employees to use resources
• Quantity per service - Count the number of resources per service. If the resource is a room, counting the resources per service would result in an insufficient number of reservations and available rooms, so do not check this.
• Quantity per location - Count the number of resources by location. Since the number of rooms varies by location, it is better to check or specify the location instead of All locations.
