This time, we will explain how to connect to the Stripe plugin and use Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.

You'll need to install the free Stripe Payments plugin, as well as a separate paid add-on (extension plugin).

Install Stripe Payment plugin

1. [Plugins]>[Add New]
2. Enter [Stripe Payments] in the keyword field.
3. Click [Install now]

After installation, please activate it.

Go to Stripe Payments settings screen

From the left sidebar that will be added after activation

Click [Stripe Payments] > [Settings].

We will only explain the minimum settings required to use Stripe payments with Simple Membership and use Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Check your currency settings

Change to 【Japan】

Stripe API Enter your live production public key, secret, test public key, and secret

1. Production environment mode - Check this when migrating from a test environment to a production environment.
2. Production releasable key
3. Production Secret Key
4. Public key for test environment
5. Test environment secret key

Finally, click [Save Changes].

Add products with Stripe Payments

Click [Stripe Payments] > [Add New Product].

Give your product a title

Give it a title that will be displayed on the front end (the part of the site that customers can view).

Setting prices

Scroll further down and select [One-time Payment] and set the price.

Simple Membership Level

Scroll further down and select the membership level at which you wish to make payment under [Simple Membership level].

Save Settings

Scroll back to the top and click the Publish button.

Check the shortcode

The shortcode for embedding the payment button is displayed. Paste the shortcode into your payment page.

Join us page

Activate the Simple Membership plugin and add a shortcode to the [Join Us] page that is automatically added.

You can delete all the default settings.

Display on site

For Gutenberg Editor

Click the icon.

For Classic Editor

Click the icon

Entering the show and code directly

Paste the shortcode into your page.

Display a buy button on your site

The shortcode is reflected.

Click the Buy Now button

This will only be possible with regular credit card payments.

How to enable Apple Pay/Google Pay/Microsoft Wallet

Click [View Details] for [Apple and Google Pay] under [Stripe Payments] > [Add-ons]. Purchase the paid version of the extension plugin here.
