How to cancel a Stripe subscription with the Simple Membership plugin

At HanamiWEB Online School,

●Ask questions in real-time in the virtual study room!

●Ask as many questions as you want via chat!

●E-learning materials that you can learn as much as you want, 24 hours a day!

All included for just 2,500 yen/month!

The Simple Membership plugin allows you to easily create paid subscription memberships for free on WordPress, and it is a way for users who have signed up for subscriptions using Stripe to cancel their subscription payments themselves from the site.

Stripe subscription canceled by user

Create a cancel button for people who have subscribed via Stripe.

The code to output the cancel button is as follows:

If you create a cancellation page and paste this, users will be able to cancel their credit subscription themselves.

[swpm_stripe_subscription_cancel_link]

The cancel button is displayed.

If you paste the show and code into a static page, a cancel button will be output.

Check the Stripe admin page

When I checked Stipe's management screen, it had been moved to the Cancellation section.

Clicking the cancel button will cancel your Stripe subscription and stop your payments, but if your membership plan is not set to unlimited, your Simple Membership status will not change to expired even if you cancel your subscription. (As of February 1, 2022)
